We have 5 core values in our classroom community and one of them is respect. In our division, each person is treated with respect. Each member of our classroom is celebrated for their unique gifts and abilities, along with their meaningful contributions to our learning.
There are 24 of us and most of us are in our fourth year of studying French. A few of us are in our third year of studying French. All day long with Madame Cairnie, we read, write and speak in French. It is really hard to only use our second language, and sometimes our brains are very tired by the end of the day. But we are very proud of all that we can do. Much of what we post is in French, but we do sometimes learn in English too.
Because we are learning to think about our thinking and to become aware of our learning, we have started this class blog to capture all the really great things we are doing. We hope you will enjoy learning along with us and are inspired by how much we grow.
